If you are a Learn More Than Spanish student, we have exciting volunteering opportunities and would love to welcome you to come and work with us.
COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS
Volunteering as an English teacher in Bogota will offer hundreds of kids great opportunities and give you a unique perspective on this incredible country.
As a Learn More Than Spanish volunteer, you can help kids from the community build their English reading, writing, comprehension, and conversational abilities.
We have partnered with “El Instituto para la Economía Social -IPES-” to help kids from the differents Farmers Market like “Plaza de mercado La Perseverancia”, “Plaza de mercado del 20 de Julio” and “Plaza de mercado Quirigua” to gain access to these English classes.
HOW TO VOLUNTEER?
You have to be a current student of Learn more than Spanish.
As a volunteer, you choose how often you wish to give your time. Although you don’t need any formal qualifications to become a volunteer, you must be understanding and patient.
We will provide all the necessary resources for the class; we also have plenty of suggestions for games and activities to capture the students’ enthusiasm.
