What is Bildungsurlaub Educational Leave?
During Bildungsurlaub, German employees are entitled to a minimum of two weeks of full-time study, including language study, funded by the German government.
A German state authority must recognize a school as a Bildungsurlaub center before a student can spend his Bildungsurlaub. A language course must also have a minimum number of weekly lessons to qualify for Bildungsurlaub recognition.
Learn More Than Spanish is pleased to offer intensive 30-hour classes for students from the following German states, where we have Bildungsurlaub accreditation. Berlin, Brandenburg, Hamburg, Hessen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Niedersachsen, Saarland, Sachsen-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein.
